We found that most of the time while we looked amazing, our underwear didn’t take care of down there, wasn’t totally inclusive or even fit right! Mostly the widespread issues of bacterial and fungal infections were completely overlooked, so we knew it was time to make a impactful difference.

Are Aerable products sustainable?

Yes. Our products are made from environmentally friendly materials.

Our micromodal fabric is plant-based and naturally processed and recycled. Our micromodal is sourced from the pulp of beech trees in responsibly managed forests. Beech trees are self-seeding plants and renewable resources.

Aerable’s micromodal fabrics are Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified, ensuring that the forest is being managed in a way that preserves biological diversity and benefits the lives of local people and workers, while ensuring it sustains economic viability.

Aerable’s chitosan fabrics are derived from environmentally responsible crab shell waste. This waste is disposed of, which does not fully take advantage of this material and in most cases adds to pollution. The proper utilization of crab shell waste can reduce the potential for environmental contamination and can make the crab shell waste into a valuable material.
